Sonic Attunement
Soundwork allows us to remove emotional and physical blockages that hinder our optimal level of performance in daily life. During a state of deep relaxation, the receiver of the therapeutic treatment is exposed to a scientific blend of diverse sounds, both live and recorded. This promotes the effortless integration of information, and the accomplishment of problem-solving objectives that might otherwise feel overwhelming or insurmountable. Benefits include the alleviation of stress-related symptoms.
Sessions vary between 40 and 60 minutes in length, and include suggestions for self-directed follow-ups.
Testimonials
Thank you for a delightful session. It was intriguing and lovely, opening doors to enhancing my experience with sound, as if I had just switched from black-and-white television to full colour. I felt relaxed and clear after the session.

I really enjoyed the session and felt a genuine calmness during and afterwards. The discussion of goals and specific exercises were of great benefit and I can confidently recommend this to clients to complement holistic health programs.

Testimonials
Itfs quite difficult to express in a few lines what the LiFT program has meant to me on a personal and professional level. When I arrived in Toronto, I soon discovered that interpretation offered me a way of practicing my career if only I could overcome my fear of public speaking. From the beginning I was able to work with people from different backgrounds and who had different communication styles. This was often in emotionally charged scenarios. Of the many benefits I obtained from the first program, strengthening my confidence and self-esteem was the most important.
The benefits I experienced during the second Listening Training program went beyond improving my communication style. I adopted a more serene approach to life in general and became more creative at problem solving, planning and strategizing, all of which translated into an overall feeling of well-being. I reaffirmed my sense of self.
Each time it was a completely different journey to self-discovery and the retrieving of inner strength and capacities long forgotten. To sum it up and to say the least: it has been a life altering experience.

When I decided to begin the LiFT program to help myself achieve certain health and business goals, I had just changed careers and was at a crossroads that made confident communication essential. I had left a career as a Business Systems Analyst, and was beginning one as a self-employed Older Adult Fitness Specialist. As a new entrepreneur, I needed not only to feel confident in what I was doing, but to be able to communicate that confidence as I endeavoured to find clients. The LiFT program helped me learn to be an active listener, to hold my posture correctly, and tune my ears in such a way as to pick up nuances in speech from people I was talking to. By doing so I became better at communicating with my audience. LiFT showed me how to hold my shoulders back and breathe deeply, avoiding the build-up of tension and stress that comes with shallow breath. Because so much of the work I do with my older adult clients is posture-related, teaching them how to strengthen their back and chest muscles, LiFT was a natural fit for my own body work. I learned how to align my ears with my shoulder and back muscles and make the connection to my listening and speaking patterns. The relationship between body posture and emotional benefits that come from active listening and communicating is really quite remarkable.
