Personalized Instruction

One-on-one  lessons via telephone with a focus on spoken English (pronunciation; idiomatic usage; business interview and presentation preparation).

Promotional trial offer: Pronunciation CD "Connecting Through Sound". This CD trains your ear for the most frequently used vowel sounds in English, and gives you practice with sentence stress and intonation. For $25 you receive: one audio CD, the transcript, and a free telephone lesson, follow-up notes and assessment via email.

Send cheque or money order for $25 to: Hallowell Gardens, P.O. Box 6030, Picton, Ontario K0K 2T0. Include your return address and email address. After you have practised with the CD, we will arrange a convenient time for the telephone lesson.

Rates for Distance Lessons: Initial assessment and recommendations, minimum one-hour session: $40. 10 sessions $350, includes materials and follow-up notes sent via email. 

Provide your own materials: If you are preparing for a job interview or presentation at work, customised lessons can prepare you for that, with special attention to delivery and clear communication.



Small groups, subject to availability: 2 people -- $20 each per person per session.
3 people -- $15 each per person per session
