Adventures with Archetypes

Archetypes come to us in many forms and in many places – in dreams, films, fairytales, and myths. We can cultivate our ability to interpret and draw on them for a deeper understanding of the world, and a clearer picture of who we are, how we function individually and collectively, and how we might lead a more purposeful existence.

During this journey into archetypal territory, we will consider some key questions:

• To what extent are archetypal images psychological, to what extent do they have a biological foundation?
• In what ways can they be part of an aware, mindbody approach to well-being?
• How might we harness their energy to our advantage?

Participants in this afternoon workshop will be introduced to some enjoyable ways of playing with archetypal images, interpreting their messages, and allowing them to impart energizing insights and influences.
